Pretty

Just the other day I was thinking about all the photos I took last spring of the beautiful flowers all around town and it made me realize that this blah weather has slowed growth down big-time (insert sad face for the farmers here) and I really haven't been rocking my camera too much as of late :(

The apple trees around town are in full bloom right now and I decided I needed to capture some of the beauty, so I quickly snuck into the neighbour's yard while babe was snoozing...

For some reason, I particularly love the second picture, although I haven't been able to pin down why. It is definitely not my usual style but I am loving the sun-kissed vintagey vibe given by this particular action to this particular image. It makes me look forward to warm summer evenings. And - I just think it is pretty.
